The Job : 

As the B2B Sales Manager, you will lead the commercial development of our B2B energy and telecom supply business, focusing on business customers in Belgium. Ready ? Because we are 😊


Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the commercial development of our B2B energy supply and telco businesses while optimizing the performance of the B2B key account teams.
  • Grow the B2B portfolio in Belgium by retaining existing clients and conducting/organizing both inbound and outbound prospecting (portfolio development).
  • Maintain regular visits to prospects and sales partners to generate new customers and gather market intelligence (client engagement).
  • Achieve individual and collective objectives related to sales volume, margins, and customer retention.
  • Monitor sales results and take necessary actions to meet targets, including maintaining a robust sales pipeline with leads at various negotiation stages.
  • Work closely with the other commercial departments and foster relationships with all internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings to review sales pipeline and address any obstacles with top management.
  • Actively contribute to risk management and secure client payments in collaboration with the Credit & Collection team.
  • Address and resolve any issues that arise with customers in partnership with internal departments (e.g. : Customer Care, Credit & Collection).
  • Develop and manage external B2B sales networks, including contracting, onboarding, and controlling.
  • Lead the continuous improvement of B2B digital tools and processes related to quotes, contracts, and commission calculations.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and loyalty through customized solutions and renegotiations.
  • Monitor and improve key profitability KPIs per sales channel/partner, such as bad debt, OPEX, and churn.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance of B2B commercial activities, with support from the legal department.

  • Full-time job in the center of Liege or Leuven, with competitive salary package in line with diploma / experience.

Job requirements

Is this job made for you ?

  • Education : Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or Bachelor’s degree with experience in similar role.
  • Experience: minimum 5 years of experience in a B2B sales environment with a proven track record of success. Prior experience in the energy sector is essential; experience in the telecom sector is a plus.
  • Skills : strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Outstanding negotiation skills and excellent communication abilities.
  • Ability to work cohesively with team members and other departments to achieve collective goals.
  • Possesses a hunter mentality, eager to develop new commercial relationships and expand the business portfolio.
  • Personality : a positive thinker who is results-driven, showing initiative and agility. Highly rigorous, precise, and organized with strong analytical Skills.
  • Languages : native proficiency in French or Dutch, with a good command of English, enabling effective communication in an international environment.
