Job description

Mega is hiring Customer Value Proposition Manager. The development of smart meters and domestic renewables are unlocking new business models and chances to develop innovative outstanding offerings. The CVP Manager ensures that the company’s Mass-market products, services, and pricing strategies align with customer needs and market expectations, creating compelling propositions that drive acquisition, retention, and profitability.

What you will do?

  • Market & Customer Insight

    • Analyze customer behavior, preferences, and pain points.

    • Monitor competitor offerings and market trends in the energy sector (e.g., renewable energy, smart meters, EV charging).

  • Proposition Development

    • Design and refine mass-market customer value propositions for different segments (residential, SOHO, SME).

    • Develop bundled offers (e.g., energy + solar panels + storage solutions).

    • Define ad-hoc offers (e.g., tenders, upsell or retention campaigns).

  • Pricing & Commercial Strategy

    • Define and refine commercial margins and discount ranges for each proposition and customer profile ensuring alignment with the brand positioning, growth and profitability objectives.

    • Estimate profitability (CLV) per value proposition, sales channel and customer profile, monitor actual results and optimize offers accordingly.

    • Continuously benchmark Mega’s offers for a broad set of customer profiles.

  • Retention Programs Management

    • Design and launch proactive interventions at key churn‑risk moments (e.g., tariff changes, move‑outs, early tenure/first 3 months, repeated billing issues, payment failures).

    • Build and optimize save‑desk playbooks and offer logic (discounts, loyalty credits, tariff options, service upgrades).

    • Lead win‑back programs for lost customers (timing, creative, channel mix: email/SMS/outbound), with structured A/B tests and control groups.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Align with Sourcing on market risks and price evolutions.

    • Coordinate with Marketing, Sales, and Operations to ensure propositions are delivered effectively (GTM strategy, price sheets, product conditions & terms, etc.).

    • Align offers with regulatory requirements and corporate strategy.

  • Performance Monitoring

    • Track KPIs such as customer acquisition & retention, churn, and margin contribution (CLV).

    • Track propositions are correctly published and integrated through a broad sales network (PCWs, official websites, sales partners, etc.).

  • Digital Transformation & Process Improvement

    • Champion the adoption of new technologies and data-driven methodologies to enable comprehensive market benchmarking, performance tracking for a very broad set of customer profiles / segments and allow for efficient and data-driven decision-making.

Job requirements

Is this job made for you?

  • Education : 5y+ University degree

  • Experience : experience in Marketing, Strategic Intelligence, Product Management or Sales.

  • Language : Fluency in French or Dutch and strong English skills.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking.

  • Deep understanding of energy markets and customer trends.

  • Ability to translate insights into actionable propositions.

  • Commercial acumen and stakeholder management.

  • Proficient in Profitability calculation, P&L forecasting, Data queries, reporting and analysis, MS Excel, SQL, PowerBI.
