Job description
Attached to the Marketing team at Mega, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing the SEO strategy and SEA campaigns for energy and telecom products, directly reporting to your line manager, the Digital Performance Manager, and working in collaboration with the technical and editorial teams. The SEO & SEA Specialist's goals: online traffic and conversion growth, development of brand visibility, and awareness on search engines. 💡
We are looking for a mid-level profile, passionate about the ever-evolving world of SEO and SEA, who can show initiative and analytical skills to successfully carry out the assigned tasks within a flexible and agile structure. 💥
The job:
SEO (On-page, Off-page)
- Develop and implement SEO strategies (on-page, off-page) to improve search engine rankings and increase organic traffic;
- Conduct audits and define thematic clusters and semantic cocoons;
- Monitor indexing and improve performance related to qualified traffic and brand visibility in the SERPs;
- Perform competitive analyses and research strategic opportunities;
- Collaborate with and support the editorial team in applying SEO best practices in writing blog articles;
- Define a back-link strategy: monitor gained and lost links and establish partnerships for backlinking campaigns.
Technical SEO optimization
- Identify and implement site optimization strategies (including log analysis and crawls);
- Track development requests with the technical team (loading times, schema.org tags, sitemap, etc.).
SEA campaigns
- Implement and optimize SEA campaigns on various platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads, etc.) and social media advertising campaigns;
- Write and optimize creative and impactful ads;
- Participate in the creation of remarketing and targeting strategies and be responsible for their implementation;
- Analyse campaign performance and adjust to improve ROI.

Job requirements
Is this job made for you?
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar role in an agency or with an advertiser in a competitive sector, with in-depth knowledge of SEO techniques and web analytics.
- Education: Graduate of higher education (Bachelor/Master); possession of Google Analytics and other SEO certifications.
- Skills: Very good knowledge of SEO/SEA techniques, HTML/CSS language; extensive knowledge of SEO/SEA tools (Ahrefs or SEMrush, Google Ads; Google Analytics 4 (GA4); Google Tag Manager; Looker Studio; Bing Ads; Microsoft Clarity; Search Console, Keyword Planner…).
- Languages: You are Dutch-speaking, fluent in English (French is a major plus).
- Personality: Analytical, autonomous, rigorous, dynamic, proactive, curious, and passionate.
