As Digital Content Manager at Mega, you will lead the creation and execution of content strategies that boost our digital visibility and performance in the energy and telecom sectors.💥💡

This role combines strategic planning with hands-on content creation, ensuring that all written materials are optimized for both traditional search engines (SEO) and emerging generative/answer engines (GEO/AEO), while also shaping our social media strategy and coordinating both copywriters and community managers.

We’re looking for a mid-level professional who is passionate about storytelling, content performance, and digital innovation — someone who can develop digital content strategies and adapt them in response to market trends, AI and consumer behavior.

The Job:

  • Content creation & editorial management - Develop and manage content strategies across channels (web, blog, social, scripts), manage editorial calendars, hands-on on content creation ; collaborate with internal teams to ensure quality and alignment.

  • SEO & GEO optimization - Develop and implement SEO strategies, produce optimized content, monitor performance, and lead the adoption of GEO/AEO practices to enhance organic visibility while collaborating with external agencies.

  • Social Media strategy & coordination - Define and manage the social media editorial calendar, coordinate community managers, and guide content and engagement strategies across social platforms.

  • Campaign & channel support – Create and adapt content for marketing campaigns across energy and telco sectors, B2B & B2C, ensuring consistency across digital channels.

  • Team coordination & performance monitoring - Oversee copywriters and community managers, manage task allocation, track KPIs, and report on content performance to drive continuous improvement.

    Full-time job in the center of Liege or Leuven, with competitive salary package in line with diploma / experience.

Job requirements

Is this job made for you?

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in SEO, content strategy and digital communications. Proven experience in hands-on content creation across multiple digital formats and platforms.

  • Education: Degree in Marketing, Communication, Design, or a related field.

  • Skills

    • Strong understanding of SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console) and analytics platforms.

    • Familiarity with emerging trends in GEO/AEO and AI-driven content discovery.

    • Experience managing or coordinating social media content and community engagement.

    • Excellent writing, editing, and project management skills.

    • Ability to coordinate a team of copywriters and community managers and manage multiple content streams simultaneously.

  • Languages: Native proficiency in Dutch or French, with a good English level.

  • Personality: Strategic, creative, natural storyteller, organized, collaborative, autonomous, analytical, proactive, and detail oriented.
