Mega is looking for a passionate Regulatory Manager, keen to help Mega develop its Legal & Regulatory department for our activities in Belgium and take it to the top! 💥💡 Excellent communicator, rigorous, hands-on, passionate about the energy market? The job :
In this role, you will be part of our Legal & Regulatory team, reporting to the Legal & Regulatory Director. You will be the sparring partner of our Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience and Operations departments on regulatory issues. Together with your colleagues in the Legal & Regulatory team, you will :
- Manage relations with the various stakeholders (regulators, DSOs, industry federation Febeg, administration, law firms, consumer organizations, politicians, etc.) and actively participate in external meetings;
- Identify developments in the regulatory framework applicable to the energy sector and market changes relevant to Mega (energy transition, market model, etc.);
- Discover business opportunities with Mega's various departments and support the company through proactive lobbying;
- Help our operational departments to comply with regulations and improve continuously.

Job requirements
Is this job for you ?
- You have at least 3Â years' relevant experience in the energy sector or another regulated sector with a strong consumer focus.
- A Master's degree in law is an asset.
- You are passionate about the energy market, its mechanisms, its key players and its evolution.
- You have strong written and oral communication skills and are able to explain complex issues simply and concisely to different departments and external stakeholders.
- You are enthusiastic, rigorous, practical, proactive, analytical, pragmatic and results-oriented.
- You can work independently, but you are also willing to share your knowledge and work as part of a highly collaborative team.
- You are perfectly fluent in Dutch and in English.
